A manufacturer realized that their sales staff was nearing retirement age and they needed to ensure a smooth transition for yet to be hired sales personnel. They requested a sales and marketing audit of the company. The audit, conducted by 20/20 Marketing, revealed that the current system for tracking sales calls, and developing prospect relationships was weak at best and non-existent in some cases. The proposal was made to modernize the processes so that as new members came on board they would be more productive in a shorter period of time and generate sales faster. The recommendations are currently being implemented and management is more comfortable with the path to future profitability.
A major hospital realized that it was not generating the number of referrals from local doctors and nurses for their area of specialty in treating young children. The hospital had a traditional advertising agency, which was focused on image development with large billboards and television ads.
